When you place a Credit, three things will happen:
1. The purchase price decreases by 20 cents
2. The purchase price is displayed
3. You are given the option to purchase the Gift Card for the purchase price shown.
You can purchase the Gift Card or wait for the price to go down, but if you wait too long, someone else might get it first so choose wisely!
All Unique Bid auctions are presented for a limited time only. You can bid using any number of 20-cent increments (i.e. $1, $1.20 , $2.40 etc.). The user who has placed the lowest unique bid gets the item for that price.
For example, several bids have been placed for $0.20, $1.00, $1.60, $2.20 and $5.00. If you placed the only bid in the amount of $1.80, prior to the close of the auction, then your bid would be the lowest unique bid and the item would be yours for $1.80. However, if another user places a bid of $1.80 during the course of the auction, this amount is no longer unique. If one person bid $4.20, their bid is now the lowest unique bid placed.
You can place single bids or place multiple bids simultaneously by entering a starting and ending dollar or euro amounts. The system will populate the auction with bids at each. 20 increment between the amounts you entered (with a maximum of 1,000 bids per auction). However, only single bids will be accepted in the last five minutes of an auction.
Important notice:
If an auction does not produce a unique bid at its conclusion, then the auction starts again. If an auction ends with a unique bid, the user with the lowest unique bid is informed by email. The awardee can order and pay for the item in their Member area (prices include sales tax, but not shipping charges). Items are shipped by DUBLICOM Ltd., which is also the recipient of payments. Items are sent as soon as payment has been received.
A single user may only be the final buyer in up to five “DubLi Auctions per month. Therefore, once the member has placed five lowest unique bids, further bids will not be accepted. As soon as this user no longer has the lowest unique bid in an active auction, additional bids will be accepted. The number of awarded auctions, as well as the number of remaining auctions available, can be accessed at any time in your back office. At the beginning of a new calendar month, the maximum number of five successful auctions is available to you once again. This is indicated in your Member area in the form of a stoplight.
